enough passion and truth
to speak through the
years
through
the ages
i have a dream
and his dream
is still
the pushing
and nudging
of what could be
of what should be
a dream
that depends on you
and me to speak and live
and so
i claim the dream
as my own
and with the same
hope and expectation
i will wait for the day
senseless prejudice
and injustice
ceases
he had a dream
and now
