not always about me.

when offering pastoral care
it is not about me.

if you are grading an exam
it is not about you.

when put in a position of leadership 
it should be more about the 
people you are leading.

i think i'll 
stick some post it 
reminders about 
to remind myself 
and others
to remember
when 
it is not about 
me,
you, 
us. 

but like i said...
with or with 
out 
post it 
reminders 
i have people in my 
life who hold me
accountable 
and remind me
this lesson.

i don't always like
it....
but i do know 
they are right.
