into a new land

i've moved into a new land.
it is a new day...
a new beginning.

i grew up in the south,
in TEXAS.
i continue to live in the south
of NEW JERSEY. 

google tells me NEW JERSEY
will fit into TEXAS
30.8 times!

big or small
north or south
it is my new home.

i've been around the block
and to the mall
down the street
and on the other side of town.

i slowly learn where i am.

in fact
i've been learning where i am
for quite some time now
and where i am in life
is...

well...
is
pretty good.
