interim reflection

i've lived interim

for the past four years.

temporary, 

transition

in my personal life

as well as 

in the particular

calling i've had

in the church.

there is a lot to

experience and learn

in times

called interim. 

i give thanks for the 

willingness of some

who take the risk of 

befriending the temporary.

i've discovered 

this risk...

making friends 

with folks and places

who are defined as temporary...

can lead to 

forever

friendships,

forever memories.

most of life is 

transitional,

interim,

in between 

here and there...

we just don't like 

to think of it that way.

i've had the 

challenge 

and the joy 

of discovering 

a new way to 

live into life

in this time 

called interim.

i walk into the 

direction of long term

and rootedness

with

much more 

insight than 

i've ever had in life.

in the temporary

i

found 
some forevers!
