yesterday
another birthday
and it was
as if i
were standing at the falls
of niagara again.

so many emails,
messages, texts,
and calls, cards
and lunch and hugs
and laughs.

from the coast of
california
to the valley of texas

from the tip of florida
to the top of
new foundland

new york city
to chicago
over to
kansas city
and lousiville.

east texas
north texas
colorado and
new mexico.

so very many
warm
loving comments.

literally it took me
all day to read them
and hear them
enjoy them
and savor them.
