You say "Hicko" and I say "Hi-co"

Wiseman Chocolates in Hico, Texas

Downtown Hico

I drove late this afternoon to the fantastic little town called Hico. (pronounced: High-co)

They once had a very famous person living in Hico. Ollie L. Roberts, "Brushy Bill" Roberts, or William Henry Roberts, a resident of Hico, Texas during the late 1940s, claimed to have been the outlaw Billy The Kid. This is why the Billy the Kid Museum is located in Hico. Along with Billy the Kid....you can get great chocolate and the best hamburger in Texas at the Koffee Kup Restaurant!

On the way to Hico I passed through Ireland!
