I'll spend this morning and afternoon at the Macaroni Grill. It's not a reunion with family or friends....it is for a Defensive Driving Class! I was caught speeding in a school zone. Right in front of the monster sized High School my daughter attends. She was in the truck with me. The officer asked, "Did you know this was a school zone?" How do you answer that question? You don't.
Of course I knew it was a school zone. I was not driving my typical route, the sun was blazing into my eyes and my daughter just made me laugh. Then....bam.....I was stopped by the Police Officer.
So today...on this beautiful Saturday I will do my time. At least I'll have a fabulous lunch!
