can you imagine?

Think about packing everything you own and moving. You've probably done it before. Do you remember how hard it is to wrap your brain around the fact that you have to interact with every piece of paper, pen, pillow, sock, q-tip, spoon, and dust ball you own?

Think about a group of people coming into your home, your bedroom, your drawers to decide, determine, and argue as to what needs to be boxed and moved, sold or thrown out.

Think about that group rushing around your house pulling open the cabinet doors and drawers and looking under your bed.

Can you imagine?
Can you imagine the angst?

Now that you have that all pictured think about a church. We have to move, store, sale, or throw away all the items in one wing of our facility which makes up 1/3 of our whole building. Soon people will walk through every office, closet, and room to determine the fate of the contents.

A prayer:

Please, Lord God fill us with patience. Give us courage to let go of the things we need to let go of! Give us joy as we prepare for a temporary time of tearing down and building up.
Amen.

Can you imagine?
I am trying.

Right now
I

am
in

de-

nial.
