Last Sunday night the youth of our church presented the Broadway play "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown." This was not the typical bite your lip, force a compliment because you love the kids play. They were fantastic. An unbelievable 240 people came to see the play. We were literally wall to wall. My daughter played the role of the cute red head girl Charlie has a crush on. She's never been in a play and did she ever surprise us. She was perfect. We didn't know she had it in her.
You know Charlie Brown was just what we needed......a reminder of simple joys, friendship, and in the end redemption.
This I needed before entering Holy week.
