There is nothing new about the New Wineskins movement in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. They fill their skins with whines! How new is it in the history of the world for humans to judge other humans and brand them as unacceptable? How new is it to determine who is in and who is out? How new is it to pretend to have the insight and power of God? There is nothing new about the New Wineskins!
The Evangelical Presbyterian Church has simply seized an opportunity to grow their membership. How interesting it is that in order to deal with these dissenters they have had to create a non-geographical Presbytery to handle their new whinny members.
I'm trying to imagine the love in the room when all those whiners get together. I'd rather argue and pray and laugh and agree to disagree than whine!
