Meyer's Briggs Strikes Again!

Part of the Presbyterian pastor's journey is to wrestle with the Meyer's Briggs Personality Indicator. More than any other tool....this one has described my life journey....explained why I am the way I am. Ugh!

Though I share the weaknessess of my personality type...there is a list of strengths that make me a gifted, talented, passionate, loving, kind, focused human being. Right now I must have the courage to face my weaknesses.

Before you have fun looking at my list and saying to yourself (those of you who know me) "Oh, that's his problem!" Be assured that you can take the Meyer's Briggs Assesment too and discover your strenghts and weaknesses.
Certainly I am not all these weaknesses at one given time. I also don't allow these weaknesses to be an excuse for not living up to certain things in life. I also am constantly wrestling with these weaknesses that I might become more wise and strong in life. I'll share my strenths tomorrow.
See: www.myersbriggs.org

I am an ENFP. Extravert, Intuitive, Feeler, Perceiver:

Most ENFPs will exhibit the following weaknesses:

Tendency to be smothering
Their enthusiasm may lead them to be unrealistic
Uninterested in dealing with "mundane" matters such as cleaning, paying bills, etc.
Hold onto bad relationships long after they've turned bad
Extreme dislike of conflict
Extreme dislike of criticism
Don't pay attention to their own needs
Constant quest for the perfect relationship may make them change relationships frequently
May become bored easily
Have difficulty scolding or punishing others
