flip flop boots?

Some people gawk at my flip flops as I walk to the Post Office to pick up the mail here in Gatesville. Flip flops seem a big city thing to do, or a beach thing to do....but not a small town central Texas thing to do. But that's ok....my feet are hot and flip flops it will be.

My friend mentioned that I might consider flip flop boots. Perhaps then I would fit in better. Flip flop boots? Surely he was speaking in jest.

And yet, there is such a thing!

So I will now start a collection for a pair of flip flop boots!

I wear size 11 1/2 or 12!
