a reminder

the color is here again
some say not as
brilliant as last year
but i recall
them saying that
last year

for me
the color is
brilliant

when all i
saw where
i once lived
was brown
and bare
then any color
at all is spectacular

i love the
fall
i always have
even in the land
where the
temperature doesn't change that much
or the leaves don't offer color

something
just happens in the fall
and
well
it
has happened again

life is good
full
and surprisingly
delightful

i've hit a moment of
deep peace
and
satisfying
enjoyment

the song i was singing last year
"burn away my sorrows...
pull me to tomorrow"

well
it happened
and i am just
saying...

i see the colors!
