little more story to tell

winds are strong
with heavy rain
and the story is just about told.

my co-worker pastor
preached a mighty
fine sermon this
past Sunday...

God made the green to fade
revealing
the yellows and oranges and reds
she said.

God made the color
God made us...
what in us
needs to fade
to reveal
what God intends?

yep
the winds
and the rain
are helping
my beautiful friend
outside my office window
to tell the last few words of
her story this year.

i'm gonna
swivel my chair
now and look
out my window

is coming to an end.
