A benefit?
Well,
yes.

For me...
a shock.
I didn't believe it
when I heard it.

I offered to pump
the gas.
After all
it is the polite thing to do,
at least where I come from.

Then I heard.
"Oh, no worries. Jersey girls
don't pump gas."

I responded:
"Well, then
that is why I
will pump your gas."
I'm a polite Texan
I can do a little thing
like pump the gas.

But then...
I finally heard the
whole story.

Jersey girls.
Jersey boys.
Jersey women.
Jersey men.
They don't pump gas.

Well a few do...
but they get payed
by the gas station to
pump!

Pumping gas in New Jersey
is a profession!
Gas is pumped on the house
for everyone.

Wow!
That's something I've not seen
since the early 70's.

A benefit indeed!
