I took this picture when in Switzerland...
amazed the grazing cows were so
undaunted by the radical incline
they call home.
Life seems this way sometimes...
daunting and steep.
And yet...
in moments
when faced with
accusation and judgment
there is
grace.
Grace heaped
on top of grace.
Soft,
and beautiful.
Grace so evasive....
that accusation and judgment
cannot survive....
no matter how many papers one might clutch...
no matter how biblically right
one believes them self to be.
May grace allow my friend
and those who need it most this day...
the gift of
deep laughter and joy.
For even on a steep daunting incline...
God's grace
remains
our home.

There's another secret to Brown Swiss cows in Switzerland - two of their legs are shorter than the other two. Makes it easier on the steep alps to graze!!! That's an old Swiss joke!
Love the picture, miss seeing them and especially hearing the alpine melody of cowbells.
