ugh....texting not so easy after all...

Typing a letter on an old manual typewriter. I started out that way. Typing a letter gave one a chance to read what they wrote before the other person read it. Electric typewriters turned into word processors, word processors turned into computers, computers turned into emailing, emailing turned into texting. By the way spell check doesn't like the word "texting".

It is highly important to text the person you intend to text! Before pushing the send button make sure you check the name of the person you are sending it to! I didn't do that, resulting in sending the wrong message to the wrong person....but a person who was part of the message I was sending which was quite confusing to the person who received the message that someone else was to receive.

The person who received the wrong message but was cited in the message texted me and said...."Did you copy me or send that to me?"

I didn't intend to copy or send it. So I went back to read what I wrote and incorrectly sent....read it and went to close it and resent it again!

What a DOOOOOOOOOOFUS. Thankfully the person who wrongly received the text understands I am a DOOOOOOOOOFUS! She would call me something else that can't be repeated in this space, and I promise she has called me that!

Moral of the lesson....Don't text after drinking a glass of wine.
