he preached forgiveness...

I first heard about his sermon via email.
Then when I walked back into the church all I heard was how good he was...
The minister who filled the pulpit while I was gone.

He's a pastoral counselor and he presented some of the wisdom he has encountered.
I'm sure some think I asked the preacher to preach what he preached...
but I didn't.

He happened to have the perfect message.
Who do you blame?
Why are you angry?
What does it take to forgive?

Hanging on to a grudge is like drinking poison hoping all the while the other person will die.
Not helpful.
Not smart.
Totally not effective!

It seems the pastor of the day left the ball in the congregations court.
It's time to stop blaming....
Be forgiven...
and forgive.
