A few posts back I shared the story of the building my grandmother designed for my grandfather's Pontiac dealership. My grandmother's favorite feature were the curved glass corners. She saw windows like these in a magazine and drew the first design for this building on a napkin. When growing up she used to drive me by the building and tell me about her initial dreams for the simple building.

Thanks to my uncle and others the building has been renovated into a new theater. However, and this is a big HOWEVER my uncle's rendition of history sorely misses the mark and is completely self serving.

Despite my uncles shoddy eight year old memories, the newly restored building will stand for many more years as a permanent reminder of my grandmother's talent, gifts, and love for life.

So sad my uncle does not remember the ingenuity of his mother, and my dear, dear grandmother.
