No matter what God patiently
nudges me in one direction.
No matter what God waits for me
to discover what I am longing for
in the unexpected.
No matter what God meets me.

This week I discovered hope
in an Abbey of a funeral home.
This week I discovered hope
when I expected least.
This week I simply showed up
and God met me
and filled me.

Sometimes showing up
is all it takes
to discover the grace
God longs
for
us
to have.
