My wife pays our bills. She has and is and shall ever be an aggressive bill payer. We typically pay our bills off early even when it means we don't have enough money at the end of the month.
Earlier this year we signed up with at& t for cable and computer hookup. They had a deal and we took it. For the most part we have been pleased.
However! But! Even though!
My wife has had the hardest time giving these people our money! We have not received a bill....not in the mail.....not online.
Not long ago we called. Five transfers and almost an hour on the phone we were cut off.
Though at&t can't seem to find our mail box or our email, they do have our telephone. I picked up the phone only to have a computerized voice greet me. The message..........we are late paying our bill. No, Really! We tried to tell them this weeks ago. "Take our money", we said. They hung up on us!
Any how.....as I bonded with the computer voice the choices landed me in the bill paying department. I wasn't ready at the moment to pay my bill. I didn't have my credit card.
The computer voice asked me to respond with a yes or a no. Instead I said, "Operator! Operator!"
Seems the computer voice and I bonded. The voice said, "I hear you want to speak to an operator. Is this correct? Yes or No?
I yelled, "Yes!"
The live operator came on line. I told her our dilemma, that we were not receiving bills. Her response was, "We have the right address and that is where we are sending the bill. If you are not getting our bill you need to talk to the post office."
Now why in the world does everyone else in the world who needs our money succeed in getting a bill in our mail box or email....but at&t can't.
I suppose the mail carrier has a thing against at&t and throws their mail away.
Poor at&t!
By the way, I refuse to call the POST OFFICE! I might as well poke my eye with a needle!
