drama
happens.
some days are made
for a bit of
emotional drama.
i suppose it
is one of the
conditions of being
human.
drama:
we look at our schedule
and see we can not
possibly complete everything
that is before us
so we gnash our teeth and
wring our hands.
drama:
we do what it takes to
get where we need to get...
we think and push
ourselves
and honestly reflect
and yet some days
it feels
we've done all this for nothing
so we
wail and
yell and whimper.
drama:
sometimes our
hearts and minds
our bodies just need to
release all the
toxins that come with
pressure and worry and angst
and exhaustion.
drama happens.
it's been my experience that
when drama occurs
within the
balance of
maturity
and peace
and patience
the ones we love and the
ones who love us
are able to
withstand the drama
that sometimes
comes spilling out.
however...
full time
drama
chokes
and kills.
so with perspective
and balance
with prayer
and patience
a little drama
helps
i suppose
to cleanse the palate
to open up the silence
to pave the way for something
different.
today is better.
yesterday's
drama
has been
comforted
and laid to rest.
