Traditional 50's baptism font with stainless steel bowl insert. Through the years the water has damaged the wood around the bowl insert.
Remove the stainless steel bowl insert.
Located old offering plate in church storage.The wood matches and the plate fits the hole perfectly!

That is very cool! We had a similar baptimsal font, with a similar problem. It's been refinished top re-done. But I like how you did this!
