the journey

sometimes
the journey
seems to take forever...

and then
with
one phone call,
one conversation,
one received message...

a person
has the
ability to see
the bigger picture.

the thing about
a journey
is this...

when periods of
waiting end
the new
life
emerging
quickens
all things...

heart pace,
imagination,
responsibility,
opportunities,
and
so much more.

today
i'm thankful
for the
"firsts"
two of
my friends
experienced
this past week.

as i said to
one...
i'm smiling
ear to ear for you.

so
for
all those
moments
when
you and I
felt like...
feel like...
a
lone
rock in the middle
of a desert....

well...
a "first"
is just
around the corner!

choose
to believe.
