Sometimes life is full of twists and turns.Sometimes the past....
memories....
traditions....
fade into brand new stories.
The old is replaced
or
becomes new.
Either way....
twists and turns typically throw us off balance.
The reality remains.
Change happens no matter what
we do
or don't do.
Fade....
and then....
the brand new.
The brand new does not come
without costs....
loss....
And loss....
feeds grief.
Life twists and turns...
change...
What was is no longer.
What is....
is not
what was.
It's just the way life is.

Our holiday tradition is changing and I am struggling with this.
Husband says we'll find make new traditions that honor the old with a view to the future. I don't know. I'm dubious.
