deep truth

On the other end of the spectrum
from the perky, happy, 70's music
is Leonard Cohen....
whose raspy voice sings the truth:


There is a crack in everything,
that lets the light in.


Living in a perfection seeking culture...
we avoid cracks (mistakes, faults, messes, etc.)
Yet without cracks....the light would not get in.

I love this song. When i aaw him perform this last year, he highlighted this line. I think this is one of the most profound things written about the nature of humanity. I really enjoy your blog and the way it describes your journey by the way.
