tiny message with a big impact!

While sitting on the porch the other day praying and drinking coffee, I gave thanks for the slight but precious breeze that blew up the front steps. A breeze is quite necessary when the weather feels as if it is 198 degrees. Because of the scorching heat I've been watering my grass to keep it alive. I Probably should conserve the water but for some reason I felt it a priority to turn the water sprinkler on.

I am so glad I did. Within minutes birds flew through the sprinkles of water. One in particular was a humming bird. What a sight. That tiny bird danced. Danced!

I could not help but hear God telling me, "Dear child, I've gifted you with wisdom and joy enough to dance. Don't you remember? Just in case you don't I am sending you this tiny reminder. There is a dance to dance. Have joy and join the dance again."

I have not danced in years. I used to love dancing back in High School and College.....and then it all stopped. No more dancing. Other things in life took over. I forgot.....I really forgot the dance.

God's tiny reminder opened the door to what has become a new era in my life. I have discovered the dance again. Spiritually and literally. And the best part of it is I am not dancing alone.

Oh dear God, you are the creator of all things. You give us the dance and you teach us how to dance. Thank you for the reminder, tiny as it was....it has made a profound difference in my life. I am dancing again and I do not fear stumbling or missing a step here or there. Thank God for the dance and the dancers!
