For the past seven days I have been in heaven.....really I am in the northern area of New York outside of Buffalo at a conference center known as Beaver Hollow. Yes, the place itself is beyond beautiful. It helps that the temperature is in the 70's while it is 100 in Texas!
The heaven of this moment are the people I am with....from California, Colorado, New Jersey and Arkansas.
The support, love, encouragement and outrageous laughter of this week have given me new life. Moments and people like these give me wisdom and courage to let go of pieces of my past.
Even in paradise I hear of the gossip about my life that is seeping into the ears of others I once lived with. It seems one can never get away totally. Only thing is....the mouths and voices spreading words about my life no longer have power over me! No longer! No more! I am free. I have life!
I have glimpsed my future and what I see is very good.
